Dispear CD/DVD Drive

လြန္ခဲ့တဲ့ ရက္အနည္းငယ္က ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ဆီ အီးေမးလ္တစ္ေစာင္ ၀င္လာပါတယ္။ DVD Drive က My Computer ထဲမွာ မေပၚေတာ့လို႔ ဆိုၿပီး ေမးထားပါတယ္။ သူ႔ေမးခြန္းမွာက Device Manager ထဲ ၀င္ၾကည့္ေတာ့လဲ DVD Drive ရဲ႕ ေဘးမွာ Caution Sign ပံုေလး ျပေနတယ္ဆိုတာပါ ထည့္ေရးထားပါတယ္။

ကၽြန္ေတာ့္အထင္က Driver ေပ်ာက္သြားလို႔ အဲဒီလိုျဖစ္တာေပါ့။ Driver ျပန္တင္ၾကည့္လိုက္လို႔ ခပ္ေပါ့ေပါ့ ေျဖလိုက္မိပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမဲ့ CD/DVD Drive ေတြ Driver ေပ်ာက္တယ္ဆိုတာမ်ိဳးကို တစ္ခါမွ မၾကားဖူးပါဘူး။ ႀကံဳလည္း မႀကံဳဖူးပါဘူး။

ေနာက္ မၾကာခင္ပဲ သူက အဆင္ေျပသြားၿပီဆိုတဲ့အေၾကာင္း reply လုပ္ပါတယ္။ သူ႔ Laptop က Dell ဆိုေတာ့ Dell ကို ေမးလုိက္တာနဲ႔ တူပါတယ္။ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ဆီကို သူနဲ႔ Dell က Help Desk နဲ႔ ေျပာၾကတာေတြကို ရွယ္ယာ ျပန္ေပးလိုက္ပါတယ္။ Dell က ေျပာတဲ့ ေျဖရွင္းနည္းက ကၽြန္ေတာ္ တစ္ခါမွ မၾကားဖူးတဲ့ မေတြ႕ဘူးတဲ့ ေျဖရွင္းနည္း ျဖစ္ေနပါတယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္လိုပဲ မသိေသးသူေတြ သိရေအာင္၊ ကြန္ပ်ဴတာမွာ CD/DVD Drive ေတြ မသိေတာ့ရင္ လုပ္ေဆာင္ၾကည့္သင့္တဲ့ ေျဖရွင္းနည္းေလးကို ေဖာ္ျပလိုက္ပါတယ္။

Problem

My Computer တြင္ CD/DVD Drive မေပၚပါ။ Device Manager တြင္လည္း CD/DVD Drive ၏ ေဘးတြင္ အ၀ါေရာင္ Caution Sign ေလး ေပၚေနသည္။ Properties တြင္(Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) ဟု ျပသေနသည္။

Cause

Upper Filter ႏွင့္ Lower Filter မ်ားေၾကာင့္ ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ပါသည္။ Upper Filer Lower Filter ဆိုသည္မွာ ထို CD/DVD Drive ၏ Driver ကို ထိန္းခ်ဳပ္ေပးေသာ Registry Key မ်ား ျဖစ္သည္။ ထို Key ႏွစ္ခုကို Registry မွ ဖ်က္ပစ္ျခင္းျဖင့္ ျပန္လည္ ေကာင္းမြန္လာႏိုင္ပါသည္။

Resolution

1. Click Start>Run> and type regedit and press Enter.
2. Locate, and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
In the right pane, right-click UpperFilters, and then click Delete.
3. Click Yes to confirm the removal of the UpperFilters registry entry.
4. In the right pane, right-click LowerFilters, and then click Delete.
5. Click Yes to confirm the removal of the LowerFilters registry entry.
6. Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.
